PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, as of semester I-2021, posted a profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of around Rp8.28 billion or 19.93% higher than the same period the previous year of Rp6.90 billion.

The company's financial report released on Tuesday (3/8) showed the profit growth for the year was supported by ADHI's ability to reduce the cost of revenue by around 20.20% to Rp3.77 trillion from Rp4.72 trillion.

ADHI also managed to pocket an increase in the share of joint venture profits more than four times or from Rp38.94 billion to Rp139.96 billion.

In addition, the company received benefits from deferred tax of Rp947.58 million in the first semester of this year from previously recorded as an expense of around Rp1.212 billion.

Until the end of June 2021, ADHI's total assets were at Rp38.93 trillion, with cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period at Rp670.93 billion.
