PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) until the first semester of 2021 recorded a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent company of US$95.49 million, an increase compared to the same period the previous year, which suffered a loss of US$14.53 million.

The company's financial report published on Friday (6/8), the increase in profit was supported by revenue growth of around 40.97% to US$1.55 billion compared to the same period in 2020 of US$1.10 billion.

The company managed to gain foreign exchange gains of US$1.87 million from the previous loss of US$8.97 million.

In addition, it also pocketed profits from associates and joint ventures of US$9.97 million from the previous loss of around US$3.10 million.

As of the first semester of 2021, the company's total assets reached US$7.66 billion, with cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period of US$993.85 million.
