SCMA Revenue Rises 7.3% to Rp3.16 Trillion in Jan-Jun


Jakarta – PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) posted revenue of Rp3.16 trillion in the first semester, an increase of 7.33% compared to the same period last year, at Rp2.95 trillion.

Net revenue in the first half of this year came from advertising revenue of Rp3.29 trillion, up 2.68% compared to last year's period, which reached Rp3.20 trillion.

"The increase in revenue during semester I-2022 was supported by the return of content lost during the pandemic, such as the BRI Liga 1. There are also non-time-consuming ad units or advertisements outside the spot in the form of Digital Brand Integration, which can integrate advertisements and content that becomes the growth driver, "said VP Corporate Secretary Surya Citra Media, Gilang Iskandar, in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (8/16).
