First Semester, Krakatau Steel Revenue Rises 29.8% YoY to Rp20.6 Trillion
Jakarta - PT Krakatau Steel Tbk, until the first semester of 2021, posted revenues of Rp20.6 trillion or grew by around 29.8% compared to the same period last year of Rp15.8 trillion.
KS President Director Silmy Karim said that this growth achievement was supported by an increase in sales volume of KS products by 10.5%, from 995,000 tons to 1,099,000 tons. Production also rose by about 10.2% or from 1,008 million tons to 1,111,000 tons.
"The growth in sales volume of Krakatau Steel's main products (Hot Rolled Coil and Cold Rolled Coil) is supported by the Krakatau Steel downstream program, which is growing," he said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday (7/8).
As of the first semester of 2022, the sales volume of downstream steel products rose 206% to 14,400 tons.
ERW steel pipe production increased 21.45% to 15,613 tons from the previous 12,856 tons in 2021.
