Jakarta - PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) posted a jump in profit for the period attributable to owners of around 481.05% to US$270.106 million in the first semester of 2022 from the same period last year of only US$46,485 million.

The company's financial report on Tuesday (8/23) boosted the more robust profit by a higher revenue of around 80.34%, to US$1.147 billion, from US$636 million.

However, the cost of revenue and other direct costs swelled by around 35.26% to US$544.156 million from US$402.298 million.

In the first semester of 2022, Medco Energi's total assets were at US$6.975 billion, with liabilities of US$5.489 billion and equity of US$1.486 billion.

Meanwhile, the position of cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period was US$371.197 million.
