Semen Baturaja Develops New Products in 2021


PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk announced a number of new products that will add value to the company's performance this year.

VP Corporate Secretary of Semen Batuaraja Doddy Irawan said that the company had developed five new products. Meanwhile, the total costs incurred for these products reached Rp2.84 billion.

"New products provide added value for the company, especially from sales and increase revenue," in his statement on Friday (2/7).

The new types of products are gray cement mortar, white cement mortar, masonry and plaster cement mortar, ceramic adhesive cement mortar, and lightweight masonry mortar cement.

Doddy said the market test for the new product had been carried out since October 2019 in Lampung Province.

Based on the financial report as of March 31, 2021, SMBR posted revenue of Rp403.50 billion, an increase of 20.17% compared to the acquisition in the first quarter of 2020 of Rp335.76 billion.
