Fast Food Indonesia Losses Shrink 50% YoY to Rp76.9 Billion in Second Quarter


Jakarta - In the second quarter of 2021, PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST) recorded a decrease in loss of Rp76.91 billion or a shrink of 50% compared to the same period last year, which lost Rp153.82 billion.

"Weakening customer purchasing power, and public policies put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19 resulted in operational disruptions and reduced sales. As a result, the company experienced negative sales growth for the six-month period ending June 30, 2021 and experienced a net loss as disclosed in the statement of income and other comprehensive income," said Fast Food Indonesia's management in information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Wednesday.
