Jakarta - Until the end of this year, PT Satyamitra Kemas Lestari Tbk (SMKL) targets sales to reach Rp2.1 trillion.

Director of SMKL, Herryanto Setiono, said that the company is optimistic that it can achieve the target-driven by the economic recovery and the industrial sector that is starting to run to support this year's performance.

"We are targeting sales to reach Rp2 trillion-Rp 2.1 trillion this year or grow by around 23.69% from sales in 2020 worth Rp1.69 trillion," he said in his statement on Friday (13/8).

He explained that in the first semester of 2021, the company experienced significant growth, supported by the recovery of industries that are SMKL customers, both export-oriented and local.

"The driving factor is the food and beverage industry has started to recover, the electronics industry, including export shoes, has started to return. So they have returned to their initial position as in 2019," he said.
