Jakarta - PT Satyamitra Kemas Lestari Tbk (SMKL) has prepared a capital expenditure (capex) of around Rp1 trillion. The company will use the capex  to build a new corrugated carton box factory covering an area of ​​​​25 hectares (ha) in the Integrated Industrial Estate (KIT) Batang, Central Java,

"In response to the government's plan to make Central Java a new economic center, we have determined that this new factory plan will not be far from KIT Batang," said Director of Satyamitra Kemas Lestari Herryanto Setiono in a statement on  Friday (13/8).

According to Herryanto, to smooth out the expansion plan in Central Java, capital expenditure of Rp1 trillion is needed. The company will source the investment funds from three options that are currently still being processed by the relevant team.
