Jakarta - PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME) plans to increase its capital without Pre-emptive Rights or through private placement, as much as 1.71 billion shares or 10% of the total issued shares.

According to SAME's brief prospectus published on  Monday (20/9), the company will use the funds obtained from this corporate action for the company's business development, including the acquisition of other hospitals and financing capital investment.

Shareholders who do not exercise their ownership rights proportionally will be diluted by 9.09%.

After issuing the new shares, the composition of the company's share ownership percentage becomes PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk as much as 68.31% from 75.14%, the public 22.60% from 24.86%.

The company's issued and paid-up capital increased by a maximum of 18.842 billion shares from 17.12 billion shares.
