Jakarta - PT Bukalapak Tbk (BUKA), until the first semester of 2022, posted a profit for the period attributable to owners reaching Rp8.59 trillion, an increase compared to the same period in the previous year with a loss of Rp766.23 billion.

The financial report published on Tuesday (8/2) showed that the profit achievement was supported by an unrealized return on investment value of Rp9.79 trillion from the previous zero.

The company posted an increase in net income by around 95.94%, to Rp1.69 trillion from Rp863 billion.

Financial income also jumped by around 1.942% to Rp205.29 billion from the previous Rp10.04 billion.

However, the cost of revenue increased by around 885.59% to Rp1.16 trillion from the previous Rp118 billion.

Until the first semester of 2022, BUKA's total assets were at Rp33.82 trillion, with liabilities of Rp1.59 trillion and equity of Rp32.22 trillion.
