Jakarta - PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk (BWPT) throughout 2021 recorded an increase in the current year's loss attributable to owners of around 29.78% to Rp1.40 trillion compared to the same period the previous year of Rp1.08 trillion.

In the financial report released Wednesday (30/3), BWPT's loss increased by an increase in other net expenses of around 159.29% to Rp2.20 trillion from Rp850 billion. The cause was a loss on the sale of subsidiaries amounting to Rp1.59 trillion.

Nevertheless, BTWP reduced interest and financial expenses by around 21.10% to Rp715.69 billion from Rp907.15 billion.

Losses on foreign exchange rates also fell almost eight times, or from Rp447 million to Rp57 million.

BWPT was also able to achieve an operating profit of around Rp277.88 billion from the previous loss of Rp299.68 billion.
