Jakarta - PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) recorded an increase in the current year's loss attributable to owners throughout 2021 by around 23.94%, to Rp1.672 trillion from Rp1.349 trillion in the previous year.

The company's financial report released on Thursday (14/4) showed the increase in the current year's loss was triggered by the higher financial burden of 114.16%, from Rp8,547 billion to Rp18,305 billion.

The cost of revenue also increased by about four times, to Rp441.425 billion, from Rp123.260 billion.

Nevertheless, BUKA was still able to increase its net income by around 38.34%, to Rp1.869 trillion, from Rp1.351 trillion.

Financial income also jumped by around 1,509% to Rp226.611 billion from Rp14.078 billion.

Until the period ending December 2021, BUKA's total assets were recorded at Rp26.615 trillion, with liabilities of Rp3.119 trillion and equity of Rp23.495 trillion.
