Jakarta - PT Repower Asia Indonesia Tbk (REAL) is expanding its data center business by exploring strategic partners in Cikarang and Tangerang.

President Director of PT Repower Asia Indonesia Tbk (REAL) Aulia Firdaus said the company is currently in serious talks and conducting a feasibility study related to the data center business.

"We are in talks with several strategic partners in several locations, including Cikarang and Tangerang regarding the data center business," he said in his statement on Wednesday (15/9).

Based on a JLL report entitled Data Center in Indonesia Unveiling the Potential to Become The Next Digital Hub, the sector will continue to grow and develop rapidly, supported by the growth of the young generation and new middle class as well as the rise of the digital economy.

"In developing a business, we must always do research. In 2025, the market size is estimated to reach US$ 618.6 million," said Aulia.
