First Semester, State Revenue Grows 9.1%
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati revealed that the realization of state revenue until the first semester of 2021 reached Rp.886.9 trillion, an increase of 9.1%.
"This Rp886.9 trillion is 50.9% of the 2021 APBN target set at Rp1,743.6 trillion," he said during a press conference on the results of the Plenary Session in Jakarta on Monday (5/7).
According to Sri Mulyani, the 9.1% growth in state revenue compared to last year's 9.7% contraction is a very high increase.
Meanwhile, tax revenues have reached Rp557.8 trillion as of the first semester of this year, or 45.4% of this year's target of Rp1,229.6 trillion. This achievement grew by about 4.9%.
"Last year, our tax revenue suffered a very strong blow, namely its contraction by 12% or only Rp. 531.8 trillion," he explained.
Meanwhile, revenue from customs has collected as much as Rp122.2 trillion, or 56.9% of this year's target of Rp215 trillion.
