Jakarta - PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) in the first semester of 2021 posted net sales of Rp222.5 billion, an increase of 83% compared to the same period last year Rp121.57 billion.

Director of Pyridam Farma Yenfrino Gunadi said the increase in sales was driven by sales growth of pharmaceutical products, services, makloon, and medical devices.

The increase had an impact on the company's profit growth for the current period from Rp5.69 billion to Rp11.36 billion during the first semester of 2021.

"The increase in sales of pharmaceutical products, services, and tolling recorded an increase of 47%. Meanwhile, sales of medical device products grew by 725%," in his statement on Tuesday (31/8).

According to Yenfrino, the company's medical device product segment continues to grow with a contribution of 24 percent.
