Jakarta - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is exploring the potential of cooperation with PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) in the development of a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) at the GIS operational location.

According to PTBA President Director Arsal Ismail, this synergy is a form of BUMN collaboration in supporting the government to achieve the Net Zero Emission target in 2060 or earlier.

"PTBA is increasingly expanding into the new and renewable energy sector. With a sustainable company business, PTBA will continue to be present to support national energy security," said Arsal Ismail in a press release on Thursday (10/20).
