Brief of Company Background
The company and its subsidiaries together comprise one of Indonesia’s leading integrated tours and travel companies. The company’s history dates back to 1975, when the founder of the Panorama Group founded his travel business along traditional lines. Over time, the business steadily expanded and in 1995 the company was established as a legal entity with several tour and travel subsidiaries, such as PT Destinasi Tirta Nusantara, PT Tirta Putra Wisata, and PT Panorama Convex Indah. In September 2001, the company launched its IPO with 120 million shares with 35% of the proceeds to be used for establishing new branches, 33% for purchase of tour buses, 27% for working capital, and 5% for development of IT infrastructure
