Brief of Company Background
The company was founded in 1975 and began commercial operations in 1980 as an electronics goods retailer. Within a few years the company made its first expansion from electronics goods to the computer and information technology market in which it decided to focus fully on banking application programs. By the mid eighties, the company began to carve a name in the IT industry and was appointed the first IBM Business Partner in Indonesia as a Value Added Remarketer for the banking an financial sector and today continue to be the major IBM Business Partner in Indonesia and Asia. In July 1990, the company made another breakthrough by becoming the first IT company to fully list its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange and Surabaya Stock Exchange. Through investments in subsidiary companies, the company diversified into share registry and office archives handling and custody, but remained itself focused on information technology. Entering the new millennium, the company has become a multifaceted company. Our market today extends beyond banking and the financial sector that have been the main contributors to the company success. The company have expanded market reach to oil and gas, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing as well as a cross-section of many other industries. The company constantly look for new technology as well as strategic investments that serve as cornerstones for future success.
