Brief of Company Background

PT Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk. was established on October 28 th, 1992 as a part of Baramulti Group. The Company focuses on coal mining business and evolves to be one of the leading energy company.

PT Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk. is supported by an integrated infrastructure for upstream exploration to downstream activities. The Company started its coal production in 2008. The coal produced by the Company is high quality with medium calorific value (CV), which are in great demand in the international market due to its environmentally friendly characteristics.

In 2014, the Company has conducted initial public offering of its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange under the MBAP ticker. The proceeds from the initial public offering were utilized to enhance the Company’s operations such as developing port facilities and coal handling facilities.

The business fields of the company include the following:

Core Business
1. Conducting business in mining sector in accordance with the permit issued by the government as well as prevailing regulations, including coal drying.
2.  Conducting business in industrial sector.
3. Conducting business in trading sector, including domestic trading, inter-island, export-import, wholesale trading, supplying and distributing any type of goods.
4.  Conducting business in construction sector.

Mining Supporting Infrastructure and Mining Consultation
The Company partners with mining contractors responsible for overburden removal, transportation procurement, as well as mining equipment, materials, and spare parts provision in accordance with their respective obligations, particularly in supporting the Company’s coal production activities.
