Brief of Company Background
PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI) is a public company in Indonesia which majority shares (83.52%) are owned and managed by PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or SIG.
SBI operates an integrated business consisting of cement, ready mix concrete, aggregates, and waste management services. SBI operates four integrated cement plants in Narogong (West Java), Cilacap (Central Java), Tuban (East Java), and Lhoknga (Aceh – operated by a subsidiary, PT Solusi Bangun Andalas), with a total capacity of 14.8 million tons of cement per year and employs more than 2,000 employees.
