PT PP Properti Tbk (PPRO) targets marketing sales of Rp1.38 trillion and allocates capital expenditure (Capex) of Rp438 billion this year to support the target.

In the second semester of 2021, the company carries out market development and market penetration strategy, "said Director of PP Properti Tbk, Sinur Linda Gustina, at a virtual discussion entitled PP Properti Jurus Facing Property Business 2021, Thursday (4/2).

According to Linda, the COVID-19 vaccine will increase individual and business group activities and activate all economic driving lines. Effective vaccination can generate confidence to interact.

"Vaccinating all levels of society really takes time, but the role of the Indonesian government and all countries in the world is very much felt. So we are optimistic that in the first quarter of 2021 and thereafter, hopefully, conditions will continue to improve," Sinur Linda explained.

Furthermore, the company has three business lines: residential, area developments, apartments, and landed houses. Then, malls & edutainment consisting of lifestyle malls and parks and hotels comprised of business and leisure hotels.

"All the projects we have developed are in strategic locations, connected to lifestyle venues and infrastructure as well as internet connectivity that supports work from home (WFH) activities," said Linda.

Linda added that in 2021, PP Properti is targeting marketing sales of around IDR1.38 trillion from three business lines.

"The biggest contribution is still from residential. To support this year's performance, PP Properti has prepared a capex of around Rp438 billion for the carry-over project," he said.

PP Properti has currently completed eight residential projects, operates, and owns shopping centers in Surabaya, Bekasi, and Balikpapan.

It has five hotels spread across Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Pekanbaru, and one hotel under construction in Lombok.
