PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) will be the hauling contractor for the Weda Bay nickel mining services project with an estimated work value of more than US$21 million.

PP Presisi Director of Operations Darwis Hamzah said that with his appointment as the hauling contractor, PPRE had recorded achievements of up to Rp3.1 trillion or 84% of the total target of Rp3.7 trillion by the end of 2021.

"The addition of a new contract increases our optimism to achieve the target of obtaining a new contract until the end of 2021," he said in his statement on Monday (19/7).

According to Darwis, the project is one of the scopes of work of several projects being worked on for the mining services sector.

"In this scope a total of 16 million ore nickel volumes with a four-year work contract. With a long-term work duration, it will certainly become a source of recurring income for PP Presisi," he explained.
