Positive Global Sentiment Supports JCI to Rebound


Positive sentiment in global markets triggered the strengthening of the Jakarta Composite Index at the opening of trading Tuesday (22/6) by 10.41 points.

"We expect the Indonesian stock exchange to rebound in today's trading, in line with the positive growth in the US stock market," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, at the opening of trading on Tuesday, the JCI rose 10.41 points (0.17%) to 6,066.67. Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 climbed 2.84 points (0.33%) to 861.77.

For global conditions, US stocks closed higher overnight where the Dow Jones rose 1.76%, the S&P 500 index rose 1.4%, and the Nasdaq rose 0.79%.

Meanwhile, in Asian stock trading this morning, the Nikkei index opened and traded in the positive 2.4% zone, and the Kospi Index rose 0.56%.
