PGN Saka Increases Production in Pangkah Working Area


Jakarta - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), through its subsidiary, PT Saka Energi Indonesia (PGN Saka), recorded an increase in hydrocarbon production of 7,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

PGN President Director Muhammad Haryo Yunianto said the increase in production to 13,000 BOEPD from the previous 5,700 BOEPD from the Pangkah work area.

The additional field production was carried out by drilling three wells in the West Pangkah field, namely WPA 1,2, and 3 and 1 re-entry well (SID-4V) in the Sidayu field.

"We continue to encourage our upstream subsidiary, PGN Saka, to increase production while obtaining other oil and gas sources," he said in his statement on Tuesday (17/8).

According to Haryo, PGN Saka has succeeded in producing 13,000 BOEPD from the entire Pangkah WK.

In the new development at the Sidayu 4V Well, PGN SAKA also applies new technology to the development of the Sidayu Field with Casing Reconnectio
