The natural gas sales of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) or PGN in the first quarter of 2021 exceeded the company's target.

During the first three months of this year, PGN posted revenues of US$733.15 million.

PGN recorded an operating profit of US$95.90 million and an EBITDA of US$191.24 million of these revenues. PGN succeeded in achieving an increase in profits distributed to the parent to US$61.5 million or Rp870 billion (exchange rate of Rp14,147 per US dollar) in the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 28.93% compared to the same period in the first quarter of 2020 of US$47.7 million.
