Jakarta - PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk (LPCK) throughout 2021 posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent company of Rp185.32 billion, an increase from the previous period year, a loss of Rp3.65 trillion.

LPCK CEO Rudy Halim said that in 2021, the property industry would face serious challenges due to the disruption caused by Covid-19.

"The company is supported by the progress that has been made in 2021 amid a challenging environment and hopes to continue to fulfill its commitment to the needs of the community in the East Jakarta Corridor and its surroundings by 2022," he said in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday (3/31).

The company posts positive performance throughout 2021 thanks to the low operating expenses of around 16.99% to Rp249.51 billion, compared to the previous year's of Rp300.60 billion. Other costs decreased by 93.49%, to Rp145 billion from Rp2.22 trillion.
