PT Pertamina (Persero) plans to carry out an impure separation (spin-off) of the Processing Business Unit, the Processing and Petrochemical Mega Project Business Unit (MP2), and part of the Integrates Supply Chain Business Unit. Pertamina official said in a statement in its publication on Friday (28/5).

The spin-off plan of the business unit has resulted in part of Pertamina's assets and liabilities being legally transferred to the company's subsidiary, namely PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional as the Refinery and Petrochemical sub-holding.

In addition, Pertamina also stated that it would spin off the Corporate Marketing Business Unit, Retail Marketing Business Unit, and part of the Logistics, Supply Chain and Infrastructure (LSCI) Business Unit to PT Pertamina Patra Niaga as a Commercial & Trading sub-holding.
