Jakarta - PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk recorded a surge in profit for the period attributable to owners as of September 2022 by 76.76% to Rp13.692 trillion from Rp7.746 trillion in the same period last year.

The company's financial report published on Tuesday (10/25) said the jump in profit was supported by an increase in interest income and net sharia income of around 5.22 percent to Rp 30.198 trillion from Rp 28.698 trillion.

Premium income and net investment returns rose by around 19.50% to Rp1.109 trillion from Rp928 billion.

Other operating income increased by around 16.89% to Rp13.,883 trillion from Rp11.876 trillion.

Other operating expenses swelled by around 7.81% to Rp19.361 trillion from Rp17.957 trillion. However, operating profit was successfully increased by about 73.37% to Rp16.902 trillion from Rp9.749 trillion.
