Jakarta - PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) throughout 2021 recorded net sales of Rp39.54 trillion, a decrease of around 7.97% compared to the same period in the previous year, Rp42.97 trillion.

The company's financial report published on  Friday (11/2), the cause of the lower sales were triggered by the cost of goods sold, which fell by around 2.90% to Rp19.91 trillion from Rp20.51 trillion.

This condition caused Unilever's profit to be depressed by 19.61%, to Rp5.75 trillion, from Rp7.16 trillion.

In addition, operating profit also decreased by about 18.74%, or from Rp. 9.45 trillion to Rp. 7.67 trillion.

Until the end of 2021, Unilever's total assets on the Indonesia Stock Exchange were at Rp19.06 trillion, with cash and cash equivalents at the end of the year amounting to Rp325.19 billion.
