Sale Price Increase Supports Salim Ivomas Performance

Jakarta - PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk (SIMP) throughout 2021 posted an increase in sales of around 26% to Rp19.66 trillion compared to the previous year, Rp14.47 trillion.

"The increase in the average selling price of palm products and vegetable oils and fats (EOF), as well as the strengthening of the sales volume of EOF products, supported the sales growth, "SIMP Corporate Secretary Yati Salim said in a statement released on Wednesday (2/3), in Jakarta.

As sales increased, profit for the year attributable to owners jumped 320% to Rp984 billion from Rp234 billion.

"Aside from sales, the factors supporting profit growth are an increase in operating profit of approximately 64% to Rp2.91 trillion and a lower financial burden, which is partially offset by an increase in income tax expense," he explained.

SIMP also recorded an increase in EBITDA of around 42% to Rp4.47 trillion, and core profit rose by about 160% to Rp1.81 trill
