Jakarta - PT Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk (MASA) recorded a 39.76% increase in profits distributed to owners in the first half of this year to US$54.940 million from US$39.310 million.

The company's financial report released on Thursday (9/1) showed that sales strengthened by around 38.09% to US$274.971 million from US$199.120 million in the same period last year, boosting the profit increase.

Other income increased by about seven times or from US$238,873 to US$1.407 million.

The cost of goods sold swelled by 29.41 percent to US$169.578 million from US$131.035 million.

In the first semester of 2022, Multistrada's total assets reached US$ 555.296 million with liabilities of US$ 222.901 million from the equity of US$ 332.294 million.

Meanwhile, the cash and cash equivalent position at the end of the period was US$3.761 million.
