PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF), until the first quarter of 2021, posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent company of Rp1.73 trillion or grew 23% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp1.40 trillion.

Indofood's President Director and Chief Executive Officer Anthoni Salim said that in line with profit, consolidated net sales increased 27% to Rp24.55 trillion compared to the same period in 2020 of Rp19.30 trillion.

"In the midst of these challenging and uncertain conditions, we were able to maintain a positive performance in the first quarter of this year," he said in Jakarta on Thursday (1/7).

In the future, according to Anthoni, the company will remain vigilant in protecting its employees and continue to create business growth and improve competitiveness.
