Jakarta - PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) reported consolidated net sales of Rp56.80 trillion in 2021, a 22% increase over the same period the previous year, Rp46.64 trillion.

Operating profit increased 27% to Rp11.66 trillion from Rp9.20 trillion, with the operating profit margin rising to 20.5% from 19.7%.

However, profit attributable to parent company owners fell 3% to Rp6.39 trillion in 2021 from Rp6.59 trillion the previous year.

"This is due to foreign exchange losses from unrealized financing activities compared to foreign exchange gains from unrealized financing activities in 2020," said ICBP President Director Anthoni Salim in a press release issued on Thursday (3/31).

He explained that despite being faced with various challenges, the company exceeded its performance targets with good contributions from domestic and foreign business activities.
