Jakarta - PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WTON) posted a 32.63% decrease in operating income in the first semester of 2021 to Rp1.259 trillion compared to the same period last year, which reached Rp1.869 trillion.

According to the financial statements published on Monday (30/8), despite declining operating revenues, net profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity increased by about 3.67% to Rp37.991 billion from Rp36.644 billion.

However, net profit growth increased, thanks to WTON's success to reduce revenue cost by around 32.03% from Rp1.742 trillion to Rp1.184 trillion.

Operating expenses also decreased by about 3.45% to Rp59.660 billion from Rp61.797 billion.

In addition, WTON managed to record other income of Rp25.334 billion until the end of the first half of this year from the same period last year, which recorded an expense of Rp12.365 billion.
