Pelita Samudera Eyes Revenue Growth 20% in 2021


PT Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk (PSSI) targets this year's capital expenditure to be US$21 million, with revenue growth increasing by 20%.

PSSI President Director Iriawan Ibarat said that his company allocates around US$21 million for this year's capital expenditure for the fleet expansion strategy plan.

"Revenue growth in 2021 is targeted to increase by around 15%-20% from 2020, with a higher target than 2019 or pre-pandemic," he said in Jakarta, Monday (26/4).

Furthermore, the company's strategy is to optimize the utilization of assets owned by the sluggish export and domestic markets due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
