Jakarta - PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk (UNSP) managed to achieve a net profit attributable to owners in the first half of this year of around Rp329.114 billion from a loss in the same period last year of Rp238.245 billion.

The company's financial report released on Wednesday (9/7) showed that a decrease helped this achievement in the cost of revenue by around 16.01% to Rp1.096 trillion from Rp1.305 trillion.

UNSP also managed to reduce the rate of foreign exchange losses by around 23.44%, bringing Rp 276.567 billion from Rp 361.243 billion. Financial expenses also shrank by about 49.41% to Rp75.589 billion from Rp149.421 billion.

Unfortunately, net sales shrank by around 18.54% to Rp1.445 trillion from Rp1.774 trillion.
