APLN Net Loss Narrows 5.25% to Rp383 Billion in Jan-Jun


Jakarta - PT Agung Podomoro Tbk (APLN) recorded a surge in sales and operating revenues of around 41.79% to Rp2.202 trillion in the first half of 2022 from Rp1.553 trillion in the same period this year.

The company's financial report released on Thursday (9/1) showed that more robust sales have narrowed the current year's net loss attributable to owners by around 5.25% to Rp383.413 billion from Rp407.563 billion.

However, the cost of goods sold and direct expenses swelled by around 33.70% to US$1.325 trillion from Rp991 billion. Other net losses also jumped by 62.17% to Rp147.207 billion from Rp90.770 billion.

The profit of derivative financial instruments also shrunk by about two times or from Rp104.883 billion to Rp55.018 billion. Profit on the sale of fixed assets also tripled from Rp900.582 million to Rp376.359 million.

Nevertheless, APLN managed to increase the net profit share of associates by about two times to Rp31.850 billion
