Jakarta - PT PP Tbk as of semester I-2021 posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity reaching Rp86.04 billion or an increase of around 306.71% from the same period the previous year of Rp21.15 billion.

According to the financial report released on Tuesday (31/8), the company's success in achieving a return on the divestment of associates and other long-term investments of Rp199.13 billion, supported the company's significant profit growth.

The share of joint venture profits also increased by about 37.73% or from Rp. 170,30 billion to Rp234.56 billion.

However, the company's operating income fell 4.26% to Rp6.45 trillion from the same period in 2002 of Rp6.74 trillion.

The total assets of PTPP until the period ending June 2021 were at Rp55.39 trillion, with a cash and cash equivalent balance position at the end of the period of Rp5.47 trillion.
