Jakarta - PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), until the first semester of 2022, posted a profit for the period of US$521.42 million, an increase of around 443.69% compared to the same period the previous year of US$95.90 million.

The financial report released on Monday (9/5) showed that the surge in profit was supported by an increase in operating income of around 176.73% to US$ 2.59 billion from US$ 937 million.

Along with the increased operating income, the cost of goods sold also almost tripled from US$561.33 million to US$1.46 billion.

Operating expenses also jumped by 81.97% to US$349.24 million from US$191.92 million.

However, DSSA increased operating profit more than six times to US$782.38 million from US$184.30 million.

As of the first semester of 2022, the company's total assets reached US$6.52 billion, with liabilities of US$3.69 billion and equity of US$2.87 billion.
