Jakarta - PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) recorded a 13.69% decrease in net profit attributable to owners in the first semester of 2022 to US$3.819 million, from US$4.425 million in the same period last year.

The company's financial report published on Wednesday (8/31) showed that the low net profit achievement was due to a 9.52% decline in revenue to US$5.539 million from US$6.122 million.

The cost of revenue also swelled by around 71.48% to US$2.418 million from US$1.410 million.

However, BRMS managed to reduce operating expenses by around 25.88%, to US$2.316 million from US$3.125 million. Unfortunately, operating profit decreased by about 49.30%, from US$1.586 million to US$804,000.

BRMS was also able to narrow the interest and finance expenses rate by around 91.56% to US$45,552 from US$753,112. Net profit on foreign exchange decreased by about 9.12% to US$844,804 from US$929,596.
