A shrimp-based frozen food processor, PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk (PMMP), has obtained a US$8 million contract from a new customer from the United Kingdom.

Panca Mitra Multiperdana Corporate Secretary Christian Jonathan Sutanto said the contract came from a global retailer customer.

"Last month, we signed a sales contract worth US$7 million–US$8 million with a contract term of up to December 2021," he said on Monday (14/6).

Regarding the product variants sold by the company in the contract, Christian said the products sold are raw, cooked, and value-added Shrimp variants.

"In general, retailers order all of our product variants, from raw, cooked, to value added," he explained.

With this new sales contract, Christian continued, he is increasingly optimistic that it will achieve the 2021 sales target that has been set.
