PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk (PMMP) is optimistic that the eighth factory in Situbondo, East Java, will be operational by the end of August 2021.

"Last month, we completed the civil construction construction process. Our target this month is to be able to complete the machine installation stage and start a test run," said Panca Mitra Multiperdana President Director Martinus Soesilo on Monday (2/8).

According to Martinus, almost all of the factory's machinery and equipment have arrived at the location. There are only a few fixtures still in delivery.

"For the tunnel freezer, the goods arrived last month and have been installed. We are still waiting for the conveyor and fryer machine, earlier this month we expected them to arrive," he explained.

Furthermore, with the new factory, the company is optimistic that it will achieve the sales target for 2021, which has been previously set,  an 11% increase in sales volum
