The Financial Services Authority has granted a business permit for the pawnshop company PT Dwitunggal Putra Pegadai and suspended the business activities of PT Panen Arta Indonesia Multifinance.

This business license grant is based on KEP-15 / NB.1 / 2021, dated February 9, 2021. With the issuance of the company's business license, PT Dwitunggal Putra Pegadai is obliged to carry out business activities, always implementing healthy business practices and referring to the laws and regulations that apply.

"We urge the public to use only the services of pawnbrokers who are registered/licensed by the OJK," said Deputy Commissioner for Supervision I OJK, Anggar Budhi Nuraini, in the OJK disclosure, Friday (19/2).

PT Dwitunggal Putra Pegadai is located at Grand Teluk Naga, Jalan Raya Kampung Melayu Number 12, Tangerang, Banten.

Suspension of PT Panen Arta Indonesia Multifinance because it does not comply with the provisions in finance companies. This decision is outlined in Number S-39 / NB.2 / 2021, dated February 2, 2021.

OJK has suspended the business activities of the PT Panen Arta Indonesia Multifinance Financing Company because it did not submit a fulfillment plan for violations of Article 65 paragraph (2), paragraph (3), paragraph (4), and paragraph (5), and Article 84 paragraph (1) of the OJK Regulation Number 35 / POJK.05 / 2018 concerning the Implementation of Business Financing Companies.

Thus, PT Panen Arta Indonesia Multifinance does not comply with the provisions of Article 111 paragraph (1) of OJK Regulation Number 35 / POJK.05 / 2018 concerning Business Operation of Financing Companies.

"With the freezing of the aforementioned Financing Company's business activities, the Financing Company is prohibited from conducting business activities," he said.
