Nippon Indosari Spends Rp124 Billion of Capex in First Half 2021


Jakarta - PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI) has spent a capital expenditure (capex) of Rp124 billion until semester I-2021.

Head of Investor and Public Relations of Nippon Indosari Hadi Susilo said that the realization of capital expenditure absorption until the first semester of this year Rp124 billion or 82.67% of the 2021 capex budget of Rp. 150 billion.

"Most of the capex is used for the construction of a factory in Pekanbaru and the completion of additional factory capacity in Palembang. Our current capacity is 5 million pieces of bread, an increase from previous years of 4.5 million per day," he said Tuesday (7/9).

Currently, ROTI operates 15 bakery factories, including the newest factory in Pekanbaru, which is targeted for completion in early 2022. With bread factories spread across Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi, the company has distributed Sari Roti products to 34 provinces in Indonesia.
