Indonesia Trade Surplus Rises to US$3.51 Billion in November


Jakarta - The Central Statistics Agency BPS announced that Indonesia's trading country had a surplus of US$3.51 billion in November 2021.

"This November surplus mainly came from the non-oil and gas sector which was recorded at US$5.20 billion. Meanwhile, in the oil and gas sector, there is still a deficit of US$1.69 billion," said Head of BPS Margo Yuwono in an online press conference on Wednesday (15/11).

He explained, the value of Indonesia's exports in November 2021 reached US$22.84 billion, an increase of 3.69% compared to the same month last year, which grew by around 49.70%.

Non-oil and gas exports in November 2021 were recorded at US$21.51 billion, grew 2.40% compared to the previous month this year, and rose 48.38% from the same month last year.

"Cumulatively, the value of Indonesia's exports from January to November 2021 reached US$209.16 billion, an increase of 42.62% over the same period last year. Likewis
