PT Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk (MASA) in 2020 posted a profit for the year reaching US$33.160 million, compared to the same period the previous year, which lost up to US$11.18 million.

Based on the financial reports published on Wednesday (28/4), the company's ability to generate profits attributable to the parent company owners thanks to income tax benefits of US$8.45 million from US$1.98 million recorded as a tax expense in the previous year.

In addition, Multistrada succeeded in reducing the rate of financial costs and financial burdens by around 71.99%, to US$4.17 million from US$14.79 million and 16.08% to US$10.10 million, respectively.

However, the company's revenue performance decreased by around 9%, from US$318.26 million to US$289.60 million. However, Multistrada managed to reduce the cost of revenue by 18.20% to US$231.61 million from US$283.18 million in 2019.
