Jakarta - PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL) has reduced the number of PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) shares.

The sale of 507.14 million MPPA shares on October 4, 2021, marked the step. The selling price of the shares was Rp700 per share, making the total funds obtained were around Rp. 355 billion.

"The purpose of this transaction is to expand large-scale investors in MPPA and for reinvestment," said Multipolar Corporate Secretary Natalie Lie in the IDX information disclosure on Thursday (7/10).

With this transaction, the number of Multipolar shares in MPPA became 2.378 billion shares (31.59%) from 2.885 billion shares (38.33%).
