MNC Vision Acquires 20% of K-Vision Shares, Increases Ownership to 100%
PT MNC Vision Network Tbk (IPTV) plans to acquire the remaining 20% of K-Vision's ownership, which will bring the company's ownership to 100%.
"This plan is expected to be completed by the end of March 2021," said Director of IPTV, Ade Tjendra, in the IDX disclosure, on Wednesday (24/3).
As of mid-March, K-Vision has a total subscriber base of more than 6 million, continuing to grow at a rate of 10,000-12,000 new customers every day.
Prior to the acquisition, K-Vision's customer base was just under 100,000. After the acquisition, IPTV increased its content catalog, adding four national Free-To-Air MNC Media, namely RCTI, MNCTV, GTV, and iNews, and 13 paid local channels.
