Jakarta - PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) announced the closure of RCTI's linear broadcasting rights on third-party OTT (over the top) platforms and streaming services to focus on digital platforms.

Starting November 7, 2021, MNCN will ensure that it will broadcast the most-watched FTA channels in Indonesia exclusively for the Group's supper apps and OTT platforms, namely RCTI+ and Vision +.

"These efforts will help us align content and leverage our digital assets more effectively for the company's business interests," said Executive Chairman of MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo in a press release, Friday (11/5).

He added that MNCN is now focusing on its strategy to drive more viewers to our flagship advertising-based super app platform, namely RCTI+ and the Group's subscription-based digital app.

In addition, the other three MNCN linear channels, namely MNC TV, GTV, and Inews, will continue to run on the OTT platform
